The lovely Jasmyne graced my camera with her presence this weekend, and we made some incredible images!
As I set up the home studio for another session a few days ago, my wife commented about my fascination with the technical aspects of photography. I hadn't really stopped to think about it too much, but it makes sense.
I've always appreciated learning about how things work -- sometimes by taking apart expensive pieces of equipment. I have yet to take apart my camera, but I am continually learning more and experimenting with settings, lighting and angles. And it's especially fun taking that experience and applying it to that perfect moment when I'm lying in the grass, the sun's just right and there's a reflector propped up between my feet.
We all know I'm my own worst critic, so I hope to use that to my advantage to constantly elevate the product I'm helping create.
