Creative Juices

I don't know if I really like the phrase "creative juices." It sounds messy. But it's probably the best way to describe what I feel I've been running on lately. Lots of ideas, both artistic and business. And it's about time I start letting it flow through me.

Maybe "creative energy" would be better?

Either way. Who's next?

New Hotness

Guys, I'm dying to share everything I've been working on over the past few weeks. But I can't. Not yet. But don't worry. I got some new hotness for you.

Last night, I was super excited to finish a really fun project for local model Samaria. We made some really AMAZING shots!

Are you next? Click here to book a shoot.

Launch Party

I had the wonderful opportunity to party with hundreds of thousands of people who flocked to Florida's Space Coast to witness history this week.

What an incredible accomplishment by the teams at SpaceX!Can you believe that the world's largest rocket successfully put a Tesla into space? Of course, it's much more than that, but the test payload was a nice touch.

Sweep them off their feet.
— Dove chocolate wrapper

It's 3:38 p.m., and I'm sitting at the dining room table doing a little retouching on a recent project. Pinot Noir in the glass next to me. Tunes going.

Oh, and there seems to be an endless supply of Dove chocolates within reach, as well.

2018 marks twelve years since I decided to start following my passion for making beautiful images. Along the way, there have been challenges that life throws at everyone. But I'm happy to continue to be in pursuit of this calling.

I've not been alone in this endeavor, either. There are many friends, co-workers and relatives who have either posed for me as I tried out new lights or a new lens or had to endure hours and hours of my thinking-out-loud brainstorming of series concepts, business plans, workflow changes and website ideas.

I'm very thankful to all of them. If you're reading this, you're likely among this group of wonderful people.

For me, the beginning of a new year allows me to reset my focus and start anew this quest for beautiful images. I hope to see you here many times along the way looking for a portrait that will sweep you off your feet.
